Abstract

This standard specifies limits and measuring methods for the emission and immunity of all types of rolling stock (traction vehicles, trains and independent hauled stock). The requirements are valid for the frequency range 0 Hz to 400 GHz. The scope ends at the interface of the stock with its energy inputs and outputs. Furthermore, this pre-standard does not apply to intentional communication signals. For the emission appropriate limits and the associated test procedures are specified. The specific requirements apply together with the EN 50121-1.
