Measurement of DC magnetic, AC magnetic and AC electric fields from 1 Hz to 100 kHz with regard to exposure of human beings - Part 1: Requirements for measuring instruments (106/599/CDV:2023); EN 61786-1:2014/prA1:2023

Abstract

This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 61786-1, which takes over the International Standard IEC 61786-1 and provides a guideline for the measurement of the values of quasistatic magnetic and electric fields with frequencies in the range from 1 Hz to 100 kHz and of magnetic DC fields in order to measure the values of the human exposure to these fields. The standard serves for the description of the operational principles of the instrumentation, the identification of the requirements on field meter specifications, the description of the calibration methods, the definition of requirements for the uncertainty of the instruments and the description of general characteristics of fields.
