Leaching of construction products - Percolation method for the examination of the leaching behaviour of materials injected into the soil

Abstract

This document describes a method for determining the release behavior during curing of grouts that cure in contact with soil and groundwater. These construction products contain organic and inorganic substances that can be emitted into soil and groundwater by leaching, among other things. In principle, the method described in this document is suitable for producing injection agent test specimens and obtaining eluates from the percolation or flow around these specimens during the curing of the injection agents. The eluates are prepared in such a way that inorganic and organic substances can be determined in them and their effect on biological systems (ecotoxicological tests) can be investigated. The short- and long-term elution behavior is recorded by the time sequence of the eluate fraction extraction.
