Abstract
This document was prepared by the working committee NA 122-59-01 AA "Machine-side interface for tool holders" on the basis of research results of the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering of the RWTH Aachen University and the Institute for Production Engineering and Cutting Machine Tools of the Darmstadt University of Technology in the DIN Machine Tool Standards Committee (NWM). This standard specifies the machine-side connection dimensions for the interface machine/tool to accommodate hollow taper shanks with face contact according to DIN 69893-5. The following changes with respect to DIN 69063-5:2012-10: a) Table 1, HSK-E size 16 added. The sizes HSK-E 20 to 160 have been dropped, these are described in ISO 12164-2. b) Table A.1, informative clamping force value for HSK-E size 16 added; c) Cited standards updated; d) Standard editorially revised.
