Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) drainpipes - Part 2: Guidance for the assessment of conformity
Abstract
This document gives guidance for the assessment of conformity of drainage pipes made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) in accordance with DIN 1187-1.
It is neither the intention nor the scope of this document to specify mandatory requirements for the assessment of conformity. Nevertheless, the system of factory production control and third-party monitoring can contribute to compliance with the requirements specified in DIN 1187-1. The recommendations given in this document represent a possibility for the voluntary application of factory production control and third-party monitoring. They are formulated in the form of a guideline that corresponds to a best practice.
