Abstract
This document is applicable to towing shackles used in towing tackle according to VG 84544-1 on watercrafts of the Deutsche Marine (German Navy). Towing shackles are part of the connection between the slip hook (VG 84504-1, VG 84504-2) in the link (VG 84550) and the eye plate for slip stoppers (VG 84519) or between the towline (VG 84545) and the towing pendants (VG 84547-1, VG 84547-2).
