Lubricants and related materials — Classification of lubricants - Part 6: Hydraulic Fluids
Abstract
This document specifies the short designation of all pressure fluids. The classification of the individual lubricant groups and the basic structure of the short designation for pressure fluids in up to 3 designation blocks (A, B, C) is regulated in DIN 51502-1. This document also regulates the marking of packaging, containers, lubricant containers, lubrication equipment, lubrication points and, if necessary, the information in product data sheets, also in order to avoid damage due to confusion when using lubricants and related substances.
