Lubricants and related materials — Classification of lubricants - Part 1: General information
Abstract
This document specifies the abbreviated designation of lubricants and related substances. This document regulates the marking of packaging, containers, lubricant containers, lubrication equipment and lubrication points in order to avoid damage due to confusion when using lubricants and related substances. Separate regulations apply to the marking of lubrication points on machine tools, which are specified in DIN 8659-1.
