Abstract

This topic has been submitted as a request for the development of a DIN SPEC according to the PAS procedure. DIN SPECs in accordance with the PAS procedure are developed within workshops set up on a temporary basis. This document will be developed and approved by the authors who will approve the business plan. This DIN SPEC specifies requirements for the performance and evaluation of test methods for determining the range of pre-soaked disposable disinfectant wipes in the healthcare sector. In this context, the test is to be based on the usual surfaces in the healthcare sector when selecting the materials: non-porous surfaces, idealized melamine table tops, no floors. The evaluation is limited to pre-made wipes for single use, for reusable textiles this method shall not be applied.
