Abstract
This part of EN 62561 deals with the requirements and tests for metallic connection components to be used as lightning protection system components (LPSC) for the installation of lightning protection systems (LPS). Connectors, bonding and bridging components, expansion pieces and test joints are used as connection components. Testing of components for an explosive atmosphere is not covered by this standard.
