Abstract

This Part 3 of the DIN EN 62561 series specifies the requirements and tests for isolating spark gaps for lightning protection systems. Isolating spark gaps can be used for indirect connection of a lightning protection system to other nearby metal parts where a direct connection is not permitted for functional reasons.
