Technique and strategy in the detection of CBRN hazardous substances
Abstract
This DIN TS is intended for public and non-public users who are involved in the emergency response to civilian CBRN incidents in civil protection and who have the appropriate training for detection with suitable mobile detection equipment. A step-by-step model for the required technical equipment of the units and the strategic planning provides assistance for the early detection of CBRN hazardous substances under the conditions of an operation site and for an assessment of the risk to the population. This DIN TS is intended to promote a general understanding of the interrelationships involved in CBRN detection and refers to various existing nationwide regulations and recommendations that must be taken into account by users in addition to existing DIN standards.
