Abstract

IEC 63168 series specifies AAL specific functional safety requirements of electrical/electronic (E/E) safety-related systems for cooperative multiple systems that are operated together in a connected home environment. This document specifies the procedures which installers, maintenance service organization and, designers, who are responsible for the safe operation of the cooperative multiple systems in the connected home environment after start of production, will follow in order to keep the system safe during the system lifecycle with the consideration of AAL aspects.
