Cooperative multiple systems in connected home environments - AAL functional safety requirements of electronic safety-related systems - Part 2: Concept phase of product design (IEC SyCAAL/208/CDV:2021); Text in German and English

Abstract

IEC 63168 series specifies AAL specific functional safety requirements of electrical/electronic (E/E) safety-related systems for cooperative multiple systems that are operated together in a connected home environment. This part specifies the procedures which designers of the cooperative multiple systems in the connected home environment will follow in order to design safety measures with consideration of AAL aspects as the “concept phase” in the safety lifecycle. It defines the safety integrity level for a connected home environment (H-SIL), how to determine it and to use it for hazard analysis and risk assessment.
