Abstract

This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure has been drawn up by a DIN-SPEC-consortium set up on a temporary basis. This DIN SPEC has been developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This DIN SPEC provides guidance on how city domains, their protocols and data models can be aligned so that data can be easily interchanged and exchanged. This DIN SPEC is a supplement to DIN SPEC 91357, Reference Architecture Model Open Urban Platform (OUP), in the sense that it provides a concept of federation of open urban platforms and furthermore provides a specification for an independent data exchange protocol. This DIN SPEC is directed towards software developers, urban data platform operators, IT-Service Providers, researchers, city planners, smart city managers, CDOs.
