Medical gas supply systems

Standardisation of the particular requirements for basic safety and essential performance of systems that supply medical gas in healthcare, homecare, medical transport and emergency facilities. These systems include on-site production, storage, supply and distribution systems, including related control devices and terminal and supply units for medical gases and stationary vacuum supply systems such as: medical gas, vacuum and cryogenic pipeline systems, cylinder manifolds, oxygen concentrators, medical air compressors and proportioning units, transportable oxygen (liquid/gas) supply systems, pressure regulators and flow control devices. It also includes anaesthetic gas scavenging pipeline systems and plume evacuation systems.
