Steering Committee of DIN Standards Committee Finance

The Advisory Board is the governing body of the DIN Standards Committee on Finance (NAFin). It guides the committee’s strategic direction and is responsible for planning and coordinating standardization work, as well as for making policy decisions on behalf of NAFin.
The Advisory Board brings together experts from various sectors of the financial industry and society—including, among others, the financial sector, the insurance industry, trade associations, academia and research, and consumer protection. In this way, the Advisory Board brings together diverse perspectives and ensures a broad-based foundation for the NAFin’s standardization work.
In addition to the chair and vice chair, the current composition includes representatives from 19 organizations and institutions.
Another important task of the Advisory Board is the strategic development of NAFin: Through thematic forums, new standardization needs are identified early on, discussed, and prepared for potential standardization projects.
