Overview

This standard is applicable only to cement-bound mortars for the construction and rehabilitation of sewers and pipes, structures in municipal drainage systems, and sewer treatment plants. This standard specifies requirements and test methods for mortars that are subject to the stresses encountered in drainage systems outside buildings. DIN Committee NA 119-05-37-02 UA "Mörtel für Neubau und Sanierung von Entwässerungssystemen außerhalb von Gebäuden" ("Mortar for construction and rehabilitation of wastewater systems outside buildings") is responsible for this standard.
