Overview
This standard is a generic standard for earthing arrangements. This generic standard is applicable in connection with the respective detail standard for earthing material. This generic standard includes the general requirements and provisions. It contains statements relating to unchanging technical requirements and test conditions, that is, properties and provisions that apply to the respective products as well as general procedures, matters of liability, patent law, etcetera. The detail standard specifies the specific technical requirements and tests applicable to the respective product. Subcommittee NA 140-00-17-06 UA "Erdungsmaterial" ("Earthing arrangements") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE) is responsible for this standard.
