Overview
Among other things this document includes the following expanded scope of application for DIN EN 60079-6 (VDE 0170-2):2016-06: - Annex D applies to protection level "oc" as well if the rated voltage exceeds 15 kV AC or DC (root mean square value) and is up to 245 kV AC or DC (root mean square value); - Annex D applies in particular to liquid-immersed transformers and reactors as well as to other liquid-immersed equipment such as pivot bearings for offshore platforms, power regulators, on-load tap changers, and earthing/switching resistors. The amendments to DIN EN 60079-6 (VDE 0170-2):2016-06 include, among others: - Annex D has been added.
