Overview
This document specifies the safety requirements with regard tro fire safety, hygiene, and electrostatic properties, as well as the testing of plastic equipment and consumables intended for use in underground mines. Plastic equipment and consumables not specifically listed in this document shall be tested in accordance with the procedures specified in this document, while taking their respective scope of application into consideration. This document does not apply to materials used as backfill consisting of non-mining materials. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 045-02-05 AA "Fördergurte" ("Conveyor belts") at DIN Standards Committee Elastomer Technology (NET).
