This document specifies the properties and quality requirements of fasteners with external threads made of the material 1.4534 with a nominal tensile strength of 1 250 MPa to 1 550 MPa and with a metric ISO-thread according to LN 9163 (all parts) or with a metric MJ-thread according to DIN ISO 5855 (all parts) for aerospace applications and applies whenever this Technical Specification is referenced in standards, drawings, or other documents. This document is applicable only for a nominal diameter ≥ 5 mm. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente" ("Aerospace fasteners") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
