Overview
This document describes the test setup, preconditioning, monitoring, and details with regard to the test report. It describes the test for determining the maximum internal pressure of the microduct. There are no restrictions on the scope of application of the document. The standard differs from DIN EN IEC 60794-1-22 (VDE 0888-100-22):2019-05, withdrawn in September 2022, as follows: a) pressure gauge used to monitor internal pressure of microduct added as part of the test apparatus; b) "test temperature" added to the details to be specified; c) added a new subclause "4.7 Details to be reported". Application of this document increases investment security for manufacturers and users, provides testing laboratories and manufacturers with defined specifications for testing, and ensures compatibility across manufacturers.
