Overview

This document applies to media servers used in fixed and mobile event and production facilities, as well as in scenic productions. It describes systems for fixed installations, mobile systems and systems suitable for touring, as well as software solutions. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 149-00-07 AA "Medien- und Tontechnik" ("Media and sound technology") at DIN Standards Committee Entertainment Technology, Photography and Cinematography (NVBF). The systems described include media servers for the management, processing and playback of media.
