Overview
The present standard is a detail standard for power relays. The standard is applicable in conjunction with VG 96928-2 for 100 A power relays for vehicle electrical system voltages up to 24 V DC in accordance with VG 96916-5 and 28 V DC in accordance with MIL-STD-1275D. Relays conforming to this standard are suitable for use at ambient temperatures from -55 °C to 85 °C. The responsible committee for this standard is NA 140-00-16 AA "Relais" ("Electromagnetic relays") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). Relays conforming to this standard are subject to approval in accordance with VG 95211.
