Overview

This document contains procedural rules that shall be followed when modifying products during their use. Among other things, these rules ensure a smooth workflow between the contractor (economy/industry) and the client (the Bundeswehr). This document specifies requirements regarding modifications of products that are realized on behalf of the Bundeswehr as well as for those that are procured from independent development and production of the economy/industry. The basis for the requirements specified in this document is the Bundeswehr's General regulation AR A-1500/3:2024-05 (Project-based Procurement and In-Service Use - Bundeswehr (PBN)). Working Committee NA 140-00-22 AA "Technische Dokumente und Maschinenelemente (NABw TD/Ma)" ("Technical documentation and machine elements (NABw TD/Ma)") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE) is responsible for this document.
