Overview

This document specifies the minimum photometric requirements for reflective materials with different reflective film structures used in road and rail traffic signs and traffic control devices, as well as in aviation and maritime navigation. This document does not apply to fixed, vertical road traffic signs, for which the DIN EN 12899 series of standards apply. This document has been prepared by NA 025-00-25 GA "Aufsichtfarben für Verkehrszeichen und Reflexstoffe zur Verkehrssicherung" ("Surface colours for traffic signs and retroreflective sheeting materials for traffic safety purposes") at DIN Standards Committee Colour (FNF).
