Overview

This document specifies color ranges for surface colors of non-retro-reflective, retro-reflective, and fluorescent retro-reflective materials used in traffic signs and traffic control devices across all modes of transportation. Excluded are fixed, vertical road traffic signs, for which the DIN EN 12899 series of standards shall be consulted. This document has been prepared by NA 025-00-25 GA "Aufsichtfarben für Verkehrszeichen und Reflexstoffe zur Verkehrssicherung" ("Surface colours for traffic signs and retroreflective sheeting materials for traffic safety purposes") at DIN Standards Committee Colour (FNF).
