Protective trousers against wild boar

Overview
This document applies to protective trousers used for hunting, which are designed to reduce the consequences of injuries that can be caused by attacks from male wild boars. The primary aim is to reduce stab and cut injuries, including those caused by other armed animal species. It specifies requirements for design, puncture resistance, tear propagation resistance, size, ergonomic properties, harmlessness, cleaning and disinfection, marking, and manufacturer information. The document also specifies suitable test methods. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 075-05-05 AA "Schutzkleidung gegen mechanische Einwirkung" ("Protective clothing against mechanical impact") at DIN Standards Committee Personal Protective Equipment (NPS).
