Overview

DIN 30694-4 is being prepared as a residual standard to the European Standard DIN EN 30-1-1. The specific requirements for liquid gas appliances in leisure accommodation vehicles and small craft; hotplates, ovens, grills are defined as a supplement to the DIN EN 30-1-1 standard. The EN 30-1-1 standard specifies the design and performance characteristics as well as requirements and test procedures for the safety and labelling of freestanding and built-in domestic cooking appliances for gaseous fuels. The requirements and tests for refrigerators and freezers are no longer covered by this standard. These will be dealt with in the DIN EN 732 standard in the future. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 032-03-04 AA "Flüssiggas" ("Liquefied petroleum gas") at DIN Standards Committee Gas Technology (NAGas) in agreement with the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW). This document is part of the DVGW Code of Practice "Gas".
