Overview

This document specifies the test methods and documentation requirements for speed-dependent and speed-independent crash protection devices for manually and power-operated gates and barriers and for the design feature for safe holding of gate leaves by drive units according to DIN EN 12604 and DIN EN 12453. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-09-05 AA "Tore" ("Industrial, commercial and garage doors and gates") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
