This document sets out a comprehensive, clearly defined, and practical approach to creating data-driven personas, thereby increasing their transparency, consistency, and efficiency in practice. The standardized process improves the quality of results and is widely accepted in the industry. This document thus provides a solid foundation for improved practice and future innovation. These guidelines are intended as a guide for the creation and use of data-based personas and are designed to facilitate the process for the stakeholders involved. The guidelines can be used as a starting point and expanded and adapted as needed and according to context. This DIN SPEC has been developed according to the PAS procedure. The development of a DIN SPEC according to the PAS procedure is carried out in DIN-SPEC-consortiums and does not require the participation of all stakeholders.
