Overview

This document specifies service categories and their service contents as well as service items for apparatus and machinery in the field of industrial process engineering plants. This document deals with the assembly and disassembly of apparatus and machinery as well as their maintenance and repair. The aforementioned categories and their service contents are used as a basis for the description and evaluation of service items in standard service specifications. This document covers service categories for industrial plants on site and at industrial locations. The service contents specified in this document do not correspond to the German Construction Contract Procedures (VOB) and do not provide any wording assistance for services in the fields of structural, civil, hydraulic and traffic engineering, which are contained in the Standard Service Book for Construction (STLB-Bau) and the Standard Service Book for the Construction Industry - Temporary Contract Work (STLB-BauZ). This DIN SPEC has been developed according to the PAS procedure. The development of a DIN SPEC according to the PAS procedure is carried out in DIN-SPEC-consortiums and does not require the participation of all stakeholders.
