Overview

This document specifies the basic principles and requirements for the approval of products subject to approval or type testing in the field of the German Armed Forces. The document specifies the procedures to be followed in order to obtain approval from the competent authority within the German Armed Forces for the supply of products for use in the field of defense technology. Working Committee NA 140-00-22 AA "Technische Dokumente und Maschinenelemente (NABw TD/Ma)" ("Technical documentation and machine elements (NABw TD/Ma)") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE) is responsible for this document.
