Overview

This document specifies requirements for the properties of recycled aggregates that can be used in the manufacture of calcium silicate masonry units. Physical and chemical-mineralogical requirements are specified. In addition, it provides information for cooperation between the institutions and companies involved in the recycling process (for example, planners, architects, recycling companies, building material manufacturers, landfill operators, construction companies, authorities). This document is applicable to all calcium silicate masonry unit products in accordance with DIN EN 771-2.
