Overview
This document enables the specific needs of the aeronautical, space and defence fields to be met. It can also apply to other fields. However, the specificity of some fields can lead to the use of existing sectorial standards such as EN 16601-80, Space project management - Risk management (derived from ECSS-M-80). The EN 9239 standard has been prepared by AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN), with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-05-01 AA "Qualitäts- und Managementverfahren" ("Quality and management processes") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
