Overview

This document applies to providers of "assisted living for seniors" or assisted living facilities. This document is applicable to facilities providing assisted living for seniors or assisted living. This standard is applicable regardless of the legal form of ownership of the property and the usage conditions based on this. This document is a tool for voluntary quality assurance in the market for assisted living for seniors. The document defines minimum quality standards for the services offered by providers of assisted living for seniors. An additional aim of the document is to increase transparency of services for consumers. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 159-08-02 AA "Betreutes Wohnen" "Assisted Living" at DIN Standards Committee Services (NADL).
