PAS

Overview

This document extends and clarifies the syntax and semantics of the ISO 14306:2017 file format in order to: - enable easy 3D visualizations and precise geometric representations; - enable CAD interoperability, performance and consistency in communication across internal business units and corporate boundaries; - ensure long-term data retention and long-term use of the standard. This DIN SPEC has been developed according to the PAS procedure. The development of a DIN SPEC according to the PAS procedure is carried out in DIN-SPEC-consortiums and does not require the participation of all stakeholders.
