Overview
This document specifies a method for determining the total content of certain bisphenols in chemicals used in the tanning industry. This document (EN ISO 21135:2024) has been prepared by Technical Committee "International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS)" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 289 "Leather", the secretariat of which is held by UNI (Italy). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-52 AA "Chemische Prüfverfahren für Leder" ("Chemical test methods of leather") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
