Overview

This document specifies requirements for defining structure and content for library objects to support project inception, brief, design, tendering, construction, operations, use and demolition, supporting the development of information throughout the process, in connection with building information modelling (BIM) and the organization of the objects into libraries. This document (EN ISO 22014:2024) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 10 "Technical product documentation" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 442 "Building Information Modelling (BIM)", the secretariat of which is held by SN (Norway). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 005-13-02 AA "Datenaustausch (SpA zu CEN/TC 442/WG 2, ISO/TC 59/SC 13/WG 8, ISO/TC 59/SC 13/JWG 12, ISO/TC 59/SC 13/JWG 14)" ("Information exchange (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 442/WG 2, ISO/TC 59/SC 13/WG 8, ISO/TC 59/SC 13/JWG 12, ISO/TC 59/SC 13/JWG 14)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
