Overview
This document specifies procedures for evaluating the resistance of artificial leather for upholstery applications to liquid or pasty media. The properties of the coated textiles are measured before and after exposure to test liquids on one side. The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 054-04-04 AA "Kunststoff-Folien und kunststoffbeschichtete Flächengebilde (Kunstleder); allgemeine Eigenschaften" ("Plastic films and plastics-coated fabrics (artificial leather); general characteristics") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
