Overview
This standard is a basic standard for heavy load relays. This generic standard applies in conjunction with the respective detail standard for heavy load relays. The generic standard specifies the general requirements and provisions. It contains information on technical requirements and test conditions of a consistent nature, namely properties and provisions that apply to the specified components, as well as general implementation provisions, questions of binding force, patent law, and other matters. The detail standard specifies the specific technical requirements and tests for the respective heavy load relay. The committee NA 140-00-16 AA "Relais" ("Relays") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering is responsible for the standard.
