Title (German)

Kinderhochstühle - Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren; Deutsche Fassung EN 14988:2017+A2:2024

Overview

This document amends DIN EN 14988:2020-10. This European Standard specifies safety requirements for free standing children's high chairs that elevate children to dining table height usually for the purposes of feeding or eating. Children's high chairs are for children up to 3 years of age who are capable of sitting unaided. With the exception of special high chairs for medical purposes, this standard applies to children's high chairs for domestic and non-domestic use. The second amendment to the standard includes the modification, updating, and dating of normative references, the modification of Subclause 9.1, the deletion of Annex C, and the addition of Annex ZA. The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 042-05-13 AA "Anforderungen an Kindermöbel, Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 207/WG 2, CEN/TC 364, ISO/TC 136/WG 6" ("Requirements for children's and nursery furniture, mirror committee to CEN/TC 207/WG 2, CEN/TC 364, ISO/TC 136/WG 6") at DIN Standards Committee Timber and Furniture (NHM).
