Title (German)

Bandbeschichtete Metalle - Prüfverfahren - Teil 29: Beständigkeit gegen Verschmutzung (Schmutzaufnahme und Streifenbildung); Deutsche Fassung EN 13523-29:2024

Overview

This document specifies a procedure for the comparative evaluation of resistance to soiling of an organic coating on a metallic substrate (coil coating) in an outdoor exposure environment, particularly the soiling defect known as "Tiger stripes". In addition to tiger stripes, other types of dirt retention can be noted. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 002-00-07 AA "Allgemeine Prüfverfahren für Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen" ("General test methods for coating materials and coatings") at DIN Standards Committee Coatings and Coating Materials (NAB).
