Overview

This document applies to low-voltage stud-terminals primarily used for the electrical connection of rotating electrical machines. See also the entire series of standards DIN/TS 46260-x and DIN/TS 46262-x. Form B is preferred for explosion-proof electrical equipment in accordance with the standards of the DIN EN 60079 series. The standard differs from DIN 46260-2:1988-09 as follows: a) the standard references and materials have been updated in the revision. Typical examples of applications of DIN/TS 46260-2 within the DIN/TS 46260-x and DIN/TS 46262-x series of standards include use as feed-through terminals and connection and surface-mounted terminals.
