Overview

This document specifies test methods for determining the maximum explosion pressure and maximum time pressure rise rate of hybrid vapor-dust mixtures in a closed vessel under defined initial conditions of pressure and temperature. The committee NA 095-02-09-01 AK "Entwicklung von normungsfähigen Bestimmungsverfahren für sicherheitstechnische Kenngrößen des Explosionsschutzes für hybride Stoffgemische" ("Safety characteristics of hybrid mixtures for explosion protection - Determination methods capable for standardization") is responsible for this DIN/TS 31018-2.
