Overview
This document is to define manufacturer-independent, standardized log messages and events and their distribution for the intelligent metering system. This document refers to existing standards and directives and complements them by providing more precise or strict normative degrees of freedom in line with the objective of this document. The log messages, events, and the formats and protocols used meet the following requirements: - language independence; - support for machine processing; - unique log message identifier and assignment to text; - importability into various systems. No specific restrictions are defined for the scope of application of the document. Typical examples of application of the document are intelligent measurement systems (iMSys).
