Overview
This part of IEC 61851 is a Technical Specification which applies to CANopen communication for the conductive transfer of electric power between the supply network and an electric road vehicle or a removable RESS or traction-battery of an electric road vehicle. This part describes the application objects provided by the AC/DC voltage converter unit (VCU) or the DC/DC voltage converter unit. There are no restrictions on the area of application. A typical application is CANopen communication of the AC/DC or DC/DC voltage converter units.
