This document has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV), Working Committee NA 067-00-08 AA "Verbindungselemente mit Sonderformen und aus Kunststoff" ("Fasteners with special elements and made of plastic"). This document specifies the properties of knurled nuts for thread sizes M5 to M10. The main function of nuts in accordance with this document is to fix parts without requiring any specific preload force or resistance to stripping.
