Power transformers - Part 19-1: Rules for the determination of uncertainties in the measurement of the losses of power transformers (IEC 60076-19-1:2023); German version EN IEC 60076-19-1:2023
Leistungstransformatoren - Teil 19-1: Regeln für die Bestimmung von Unsicherheiten in der Messung der Verluste von Leistungstransformatoren (IEC 60076-19-1:2023); Deutsche Fassung EN IEC 60076-19-1:2023
Overview
This standard deals with the measurement of losses that, from a metrological point of view, consist of the estimation of a measured quantity and the evaluation of uncertainty and that affect the measured quantity itself. The procedures can also be used for loss measurements on power transformers, such as for evaluating the achievable performance of test equipment in prequalification processes, as well as for estimating the achievable uncertainty in a request for quotation for an order or before the start of final testing at the manufacturer, and for evaluating market surveillance measurements. This part of the series of standards defines rules for determining uncertainties in the measurement of losses in power transformers. The document does not provide any information on the treatment of measurement results. The evaluation is defined in another part of the series of standards (IEC 60076-8). The results of each measurement shall continue to comply with the evaluation of measurement uncertainties in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEV Guide 98-3. This part of the IEC 60076 series of standards deals with the evaluation of measurement uncertainties arising from measurements of losses in power transformers. The methods described are important for evaluating the performance of a testing laboratory during prequalification procedures, but also as estimates of the uncertainty that can be achieved at the inquiry stage of an order or before the start of final testing at the manufacturer's site.
